The name ‘LEGO’ is an abbreviation of the two Danish words “leg godt”, meaning “play well”. In 1947, Lego expanded to begin producing plastic toys. The term LEGO is the same in French as it is in English. It’s a brand name that doesn’t translate between languages, so you would simply say LEGO. When talking about LEGO in general (for example, the bricks or sets), you would use the masculine article le in French, as in Le LEGO.
